The South Coast Fencing Center has been home to Olympic style fencing training in Orange County since 2002. We teach all weapons and welcome all ages. Whether you are completely new to the sport of fencing or are looking for a competitive home, we offer a wide variety of programs to fit your needs and a diverse coaching staff that is ready to work with you.
We maintain a focused and positive training environment with an emphasis on long term development of our athletes. We are happy to meet with you to find out out we can best help you reach your goals. We offer trials classes in all of our programs so that you can meet the staff and other students to make sure it is a good fit for you.

Our Background & Philosophy
The South Coast Fencing Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 with the goal of providing an extraordinary training experience in a positive and focused learning environment. The Center offers instruction in foil and epee at all levels. Our coaches have extensive experience at both the national and international levels and are experienced in developing and fostering talent in every student, regardless of their background.

Orange Coast Division Tournaments
November 22, 2024
SCFC will be hosting a series of Orange Coast Division sanctioned foil tournaments this season. These include mixed foil events in the following age categories: Youth-12, Youth-14, Junior, Senior and Veteran.

SCFC closes for Winter Break
December 14, 2024
The Center will be closing for our annual Winter Break between December 23 and January 4. We wish everyone a safe and festive holiday!
Winter Camp
December 17, 2024
The Center will be offering a two day intensive foil training camp over the holiday break. This camp is for intermediate and competitive foilists and will run December 28-29.
The hours of the camp are 9:30am to 1pm daily. The camp will focus on tactical and technical development. To register, please contact the Center.
